Construction on Harrison Avenue near Main Street will conclude next week, and the Roadway will be opened to all traffic on Friday, September 2nd. On Tuesday, September 6th, work will begin on the Harrison and Summer Street Intersection. The intersection work will take place in 3 different phases (see attached images). Phase I will close traffic in the north-south direction and is expected to last five weeks. Phase II will close traffic in both directions and take two weeks. Phase III will close traffic in the east-west direction and last five weeks. All of the individual phase changes will receive their own press release the week before going into effect.
