Veteran’s Day is a holiday for Burlington Solid Waste crews and is observed on Thursday, November 11th. TRASH from Thursday’s route will be collected on Friday, November 12th. Other routes are on their normal schedule, but crews may come earlier or later in the day than you are used to.
LEAF COLLECTION IS ALSO AFFECTED. Leaves from both Wednesday and Thursday trash routes will be collected on Friday, November 12th. Always set out by 7:00 a.m. Leaf collection is at the curb even if trash is collected in the alley.
Curbside collection of recyclables is not affected by the holiday.
