The Public Works Directors Office announced today that effective immediately and for the remainder of this week, the southern portion of the Madison Avenue and South Street intersection will be closed to allow for storm sewer installation.
This closure is in addition to the existing South Street and 7th Street closure for the Locust Basin Sewer Separation Project (see attached picture for closure area). The Madison Avenue and South Street intersection is expected to open to normal traffic operation by the end of the day on Friday November 20, 2020.
