Inner apron is to have a trench drain system located 3’ inside of the notch in the grade beam.  To ensure correct drainage the trench drain will most likely have to be in multiple sections drained independently.  Trench drain installation shall be per the attached drawings.

New sleeves for the pool handrails will need to be provided and installed in the apron.

There are sun shades on the attached drawings that will have embeds in the concrete deck.  These embeds will be provided by the City of Burlington to the contractor.

At the diving board area of the apron a concrete foundation will need to be installed with embedded anchors to allow the diving boards to be removed and reinstalled.  Sizing for this foundation shall be determined by the diving board manufacturer.

Equipment pads for inflation equipment and generator are to be provided.

Carpentry and Steel –

A link structure shall be fabricated and installed between the existing building and the airlock of the Arizon bubble structure.  Structure shall be fabricated from 4” x 4” square tubing with Zee purlins.  The roof shall be a screw-down metal roof similar to MBCI PBR type roofing.  The intent is to match the Pool House building appearance.  The roof shall be insulated with w metal liner panel on the bottom of the purlins.  The wall panels shall be removable during the summer season.  Please refer to the attached drawing for the overall configuration and detail notes.

A 28’ x 40’ Garage package shall be provided and installed per the attached drawings.  The garage roof shall be a screw-down metal roof similar to MBCI PBR type roofing.  The intent is to match the Pool House building appearance.  This roof shall be installed over roof sheathing and vapor barrier. There shall be one walk door and one overhead door provided with this garage package.  No insulation is required in this garage package.

In the HVAC drawings there are notes with details and extents lines on the drawing for adding 2” thick rigid insulation to the exterior walls of the existing building.  This insulation is to be covered with FRP panel and trims as required.  Fiberglass Blow-in insulation in the amount of R-38 thickness is also required to be installed in the roof system above the concrete deck and the new roof above.

Assume that the existing service can provide for all electrical requirements.

All systems are to be 100% bonded and grounded including foundation reinforcing.

Power is to be provided to the deck lighting in the form of flush-mounted boxes embedded in the concrete apron at locations shown on plans.

Power is to be provided to the two inflation units, control board by the diving boards and to lighting in the ceiling of the link building.

Power shall be provided to the east of the pool for a future Storage Building.

The Main Pool and the Baby Pool are to be separated using an isolation valve with blow-out in order to be able to winterize the Baby Pool while still using the Main Pool.

Piping shall be provided to drain the trench drain system.  These shall be drained back to new hookups in the Filter Room.

There are some exterior spigots located around the perimeter of the pool.  These are to be relocated to inside of the Bubble directly in from their current locations.  The new spigots shall be flush mounted boxes embedded in the concrete apron.  At this time it is to be assumed that the existing lines are below frost depth.

HVAC systems shall be provided according to the attached drawings.
