[ARCHIVED] Burlington Urban Service to offer benefits for Veterans on November 11, 2017

All over the nation, Veterans will be honored November 11th for their service to our country.  In Iowa, many of the State’s Public Transit Agencies will be offering free rides to Veterans and their families to thank them for their sacrifice.

Burlington Urban Service, operating in the City of Burlington, Iowa, supports our military families.  To show that support, Burlington Urban Service will be offering free rides to veterans (and their families if applicable) on Veterans Day, November 11th.  To qualify for the free rides, Veterans must show some form of military id.

Public Transit plays a critical role in the mobility and quality of life for Iowans.  All Public Transit Services are open to the public.  Anyone can ride the bus.  For more information on our services call 753-8162 or visit the City of Burlington web site, www.burlingtoniowa.org.
