Citizen's Fire Academy

Are you interested in learning more about how the Burlington Fire Department is organized or how it operates? Have you wondered about what physical or mental requirements there are to become a firefighter? This academy is for you! 

The 2023 Citizen's Fire Academy will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 PM starting on August 3, 2023 and ending on September 21, 2023.

Applications are now being accepted and class size is limited to 12 participants.  Must be 18 years or older and pass a background check to participate.
