Special Meeting No. 11

October 26, 1998

The Burlington City Council met in special session at 4:30 p.m. with Mayor Scott, Council Members Edwards, Henry, and Wright present. Mayor Scott announced that Council Member Thomas was not present due to a death in the family.

SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE ACKNOWLEDGED

RESOLUTIONS:

1. Resolution Approving Class "C" Beer Permit for Home Oil Stations, Inc. dba/ N. Main Burlington Home Oil Short Stop

DISCUSSION: Mayor Scott stated that he had received a phone call from Dave Carpenter, of Home Oil, requesting a special meeting to approve a beer permit for Home Oil Stations, Inc. dba/North Main Burlington Home Oil Short Stop. He stated that Dave Carpenter was planning on opening the new business on Monday, November 2, 1998. The City Manager stated that the City Clerk had received all the necessary documents for approval of the beer permit. All present had opportunity to speak and nothing additional was filed in the office of the City Clerk.

(VOTE: 4 - "AYES") ADOPTED
